Terms of Service

  1. Under Alabama Law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury or death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to the Equine Activities Liability Protection Act.

  2. Payment in full is required at the time of booking to reserve and secure any lesson, lesson package, appointment, camp, clinic, event, birthday party, or other service offered by Nightsong Stable. Payments may be made via Cash App, Venmo, or Apple Pay.

A reservation is not considered confirmed, and your requested date and time will not be held, until payment has been received. Appointment and event availability is offered on a first-paid, first-served basis.

At this time, Nightsong Stable does not accept farm work, volunteer services, barter, or other non-monetary arrangements in lieu of payment. We also do not currently offer discounts unless expressly advertised by Nightsong Stable. All listed prices are final.

  3. All lesson and appointment payments are non-refundable. In the event a rider or trainer must cancel for any reason, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule the appointment for the next mutually agreeable date and time. The trainer will make 3 contact attempts to reschedule.  If the client does not respond to the 3 rescheduling attempts or declines to reschedule, all payments made will be considered forfeited and remain non-refundable.

  4. Registration fees and payments for camps, clinics, holiday events, parties, workshops, and any other special events hosted by Nightsong Stable are non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued if Nightsong Stable elects to fully cancel the event without rescheduling. Should an event be postponed or rescheduled due to weather, safety concerns, farm emergencies, low enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, all registrations and payments will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date, and no refunds will be issued. Participants who arrive late, leave early, miss portions of an event, or fail to attend the event entirely for any reason shall not be entitled to a refund, credit, or makeup session. By registering for a farm event, participants acknowledge and agree to these terms.

  5. Riders are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes after the start of their scheduled appointment time may have their lesson or appointment canceled at the discretion of the trainer in order to avoid disruption to the remaining schedule. Refer to policy #2.

  6. Nightsong Stable is committed to maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and family-friendly atmosphere. Disruptive behavior including fighting, bullying, excessive profanity, harassment, rude conduct, or other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the property or termination of lessons/services at the discretion of management.

  7. For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, please help keep the farm clean and orderly by disposing of trash in designated receptacles and promptly notifying staff of any hazards, damaged equipment, loose animals, or other safety concerns observed on the property.

  8. Trainers cannot guarantee the availability or use of any specific horse for lessons or appointments. Horse assignments may change at any time based on rider compatibility, training needs, scheduling, temperament, workload, health, or other factors. Please note that some horses on the property are privately owned and are not available for lesson use.

  9. All lesson tack and equipment must be properly returned to its designated location after use. Bridles and halters should be returned to the assigned horse’s stall door, while saddles, saddle pads, and related equipment must be returned to the designated lesson tack area or tack shed. Lesson tack may not be left on the ground, hung outside exposed to weather or environmental conditions, or removed from the property under any circumstances without prior authorization from management. Proper care and handling of equipment is expected to help maintain the safety, cleanliness, and longevity of all tack used at Nightsong Stable.

  10. Riders who are able to independently groom and tack their horse may arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time to prepare for their lesson. Riders requiring assistance with grooming or tacking should understand that preparation time may be included within the scheduled lesson timeslot. To help minimize congestion and maintain safety on the property, please do not arrive earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment unless prior arrangements have been made.

  11. Upon completion of lessons, appointments, or any post-lesson responsibilities, guests are asked to promptly exit the property unless otherwise authorized by staff. This policy helps maintain a safe environment, minimize overcrowding, and reduce liability concerns.
